SFS had a variety of transport related issues. The main being the total mileagedriven by the drivers since the payments made to them were per km driven. Otherconcerns included were late deliveries due to unauthorized stoppages and routedeviations, frequent road accidents due to over speeding, limitations toanalyze accidents and determine contributing factors, assessment of drivers’performance, high maintenance costs and downtime.
C-track Solution
SFS was offered a consolidated solution comprising of C-track Solo unitwith DMM (Driver Management Module) and FMIS analytical reports. Thisresulted in SFS having control of the following;
- Imposition of speed limits kept the drivers away from speeding resulting in reduction in the accident rates.
- The overall maintenance costs also came down due to the proper driving within the prescribed speed limits.
- With the help of the DMM, they were able to get the precise mileage on the vehicles, which they could match with the physical odometer.
- They got peace of mind that they were not paying their drivers anything extra and can really rely on the results produced by our products.
